Now, I am very aware that I am a doll. I am fully aware that I am produced by Mattel and put for sale to please the wants of little girls. It's a great life, you know? I get to have all of these very nice fitting outfits, nice houses, and great cars. The company has even sculpted my plastic body with some muscles, which does well with the Barbies. The sole purpose of my creation is mainly to please a younger crowd. I was made to help feed imaginations and love stories. Though those love stories are completely artificial, at least Mattel creates a countless number of amazing looking Barbies. I mean, have you seen the breasts on any of them? They're gigantic! I have never seen a human's body come close to what a Barbie's looks like. Yet, my problems start with the amount "sexual equipment" that Barbie had, and how it was not possible for me to reciprocate. Though many of my friends scold at me or call me an "idiot" for believing conspiracy stories, I still read about them. Theories about aliens, or simulations, or evil corporations, and creatures from the crypt. These things do sometimes scare me. Because what if there is something that is truly out there. Something that would cause danger to us. In class this week, we discussed the piece, "The Measure or Restraint," talks of the continuous want for knowledge, and how that could ultimately lead us to our own demise. I think one that comes to mind for a lot of people-- aliens. Aliens' existence is a highly controversial topic. Me personally, I think it's possible for them to be out there.
